On late November, Vastalla, together with its partners University of Turin (Italy), Catholic University of Leuven (Belgium) and the Medical University of South Carolina (USA) has conducted the fourth and last campaign of parabolic flights part of the GRAVITO – “Spatial Attention and Motor Awareness in Altered Gravitational Environments” project.
The parabolic flights campaigns are organized by the European Space Agency.
GRAVITO project studies the microgravity effects on human subjects making use of custom designed scientific equipment. As in the three former campaigns, the GRAVITO team and its equipment have flown onboard a modified Airbus A310 ‘Zero-G’ managed by Novespace company, part owned by CNES.
